Arts rotation

As part of our imagination topic, we are holding two session Arts Rotation. Tui together with Pukeko will be participating in Music with Mrs Brattle, Dance with Whaea Pip and Drama with Mrs Schroeder and Miss Francken.

Our first session of our first rotation was music with Mrs Brattle, we listened to and looked at a story about Mataariki. While listening to the music again we drew pictures to show how the music made us feel.

Antarctica

We learned all about Antarctica this morning. Ken Ryan came to school to share his experiences going to Antarctica with us. 

We got to enjoy lots of great images and stories about Antarctica.

Two of us got dressed up in super warm clothes people wear when they are on Antarctica 

We got to go inside the tent and check out a 3000 year old penguin.

Friday Discovery

We had a very quiet but super fun Discovery today. We were very lucky to have Tessa in for a visit.  Check out what we got up to.

Buddy Maths working on symmetry

During Budddy Maths today we worked on creating a symmetrical butterfly together with our buddy. Check out how hard we were working and how creative we are.

Visiting Harold the Giraffe in the life ed classroom

We loved visiting Harold in the Life Ed classroom. We made great new friends and loved the walk to the park we went on.
