Assembly Item week 5

We would like to say a big Thank You to Kate who has come in to do Art with us every Thursday over the last 2 terms.

We've had the chance to experience lots of different art activities and techniques. From full body art to painting with plungers and salad spinners.

Marble jar party

We've worked very hard to earn all the marbles in the jar.

For our party we had ice blocks and a play on the playground with sports things from the sports shed. We especially enjoyed the frisbee.

And after our party we had a picnic on the playground.

It was a little chilly, but a lot of fun.

Great work earning all our marbles!

What is fun?

We looked at this book and then drew pictures of what we think is fun.

3D Art with Kate

Today for art we were sculpting 3D structures and monsters using play dough. It was only temporary art, so check out what we created.

Thanks Kate, that was a great experience. We loved sculpting art structures!
